Google updates PageRank yesterday! EZwpthemes.com is PR4 now!

This is a good start for a 4-month site. However, there is still long way to go.

As you can see very clearly from our license page:

It’s ILLEGAL to remove our credit links without permission. However, still somebody’s blind to law and morality.

Recently we found the site Themes Online has stolen some of our best original works:

Credit links in footer part of these themes are all removed, without contacting us. What’s worse is that these themes were repacked, footer parts are encrypted with unknown content.

We’ve warned this site to stop this infringing act. If this site continues doing that, we’ll have to inform its host service provider, lodge a complaint, or step up legal action.

This is a brand new page of EZwpthemes! Our daily traffic reaches 500 on March 4th, 2009!

From 0 to 500, we spent less that three months. Maybe it is not a great achievement, but we are really encouraged. We feel very grateful that our themes are liked and used by people all round the globe.

WordPress is upgraded once again. Version 2.7.1 is now available on WordPress’ official site.

Problem:

Some bugs are fixed, but unfortunately we find a new bug in this release. If your theme folder name contains character “-”, you’ll have a blank preview window from the admin control panel. However this doesn’t matter much, you can still activate your theme and use it without any trouble.

Reason:

wp-includes/theme.php is changed a little in order to support subdirectories of themes.

The newer regular expression supports “/” which refers to subdirectories. But the meaning of “-” is misunderstood, this caused preview error when theme folder name contains “-”.

Solution:

Simply change the string sequence:

It cost us almost two weeks on designing, coding and testing in order to give our visitors best usability based on nice graphic design. Comparing with the older version, this brings many user-friendly features, which definitely let you feel more comfortable in browsing, previewing and using our themes.

In hard times it’s important to keep the faith. Thus we made this theme call Obama Hope. We believe that all things must pass. Wish you, and everyone out there fighting, have the same perspective as us.

Two week ago the number of our visitors reaches three-figure. Today this number doubles.

It’s a great event. From 0 to 100 is a long way, from 100 to 200 is even further. But we won’t stop. We will march on next hundred, thousand, and more. The most important, we are going to make more premium free WP themes. We love WordPress, and you my friend, thank you for supporting us along the way.

We are planning to do something to monumentalize this day. But what? Not yet the time to open the box.

Today we release a theme designed for Chelsea Football Club – Chelsea FC Theme.

It’s designed at a Chelsea FC fan’s request.

After half a month we lauched our WordPress themes site, the number of visitors finally becomes three-figure! What a bravo day! In fact we almost made this ten days before (On Dec 26th, 2008 we have 97 visitors).

After long time of preparation, our WordPress themes site - EZwpthemes is finally put online. All works on this site are originally designed and coded by EZwpthemes, a group of web designers enthusiasm for WordPress.

We are not going to make bunch of just-so-so themes like assembly lines. Our aim is to bring you the best WordPress themes even far better than those premium ones. Note that all our themes are free. The reason we do so, is that we love WordPress much more than bucks.
